Authorship & Contributions
The BAU Cyprus Law Journal adheres to high standards regarding authorship and
contributions. Authors are expected to list all individuals who have made substantial
intellectual contributions to the work being reported.
Authorship Criteria
- Only individuals who have made a significant contribution to the conception,
design, execution or interpretation of the research should be listed as authors. - All authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its
submission. - The order of authorship should be a joint decision of the co-authors. Any
disagreements should be resolved before submission.
Changes to Authorship
Requests to add, remove or rearrange authors after submission must be made by the
corresponding author and include a clear explanation for the change. Changes are
subject to editorial approval and, where appropriate, consent from all co-authors.
We follow guidance from COPE and other editorial standards to ensure that author
contributions are accurately represented. Guest, honorary or ghost authorship is not
permitted.
